Like new, comes with all original packaging and accessories. There are no blemishes on the unit whatsoever. Any specks/spots in the pictures are simply dust; the Swiffer duster I used apparently only made things worse and I didn't notice until after the pictures were taken and being processed.

Anyway, I'm the original owner, purchased on 7/29/22. I bought it to use in my second floor home office during the hotter months because my EAR HP-4 was unbearable after about 30 minutes. The Heresy works and sounds great, especially with studio headphones. I'm selling because I upgraded to the RNHP and have no further use for the Heresy.

Buyer pays $10 for insured shipping through UPS.

No trades. Serious inquiries only.

I will only accept PayPal Friends & Family. I am not a business and will not pay 20%+ tax on gains from selling personal gear at a loss. I have excellent feedback here, at USAM, and on eBay. I generally ship same-day payment is received, assuming the UPS store is still open at the time of transaction and there are no other extenuating circumstances. If not, I still create the label and provide tracking information ASAP and get to the UPS store first thing the next morning.

You would only owe tax on used item sales if you made a net profit for the year. If you're losing money, you wouldn't owe any taxes. That said, the extra paperwork is indeed a hassle.

Side note: I'm a fellow RNHP owner.

Maybe he’s referring to the PayPal fees? Those are cleared with friends and fam:)

No, I'm referring to the income tax paid on the 1099-MISC that PayPal sends for over $700 in G&S sales each calendar year.

If you don't like my terms, find another sale. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh I have no problems with your terms in the slightest, and you actually helped me learn something new, and for that I thank you!

As I said, there is no income tax paid when you do not make a net profit for the year.

You would just add up the income and expenses (like what you originally paid for a product along with the shipping and transaction fees) and report those numbers showing that you lost money overall.

Additionally, the IRS has changed the rules. The $600 (not sure where you got $700 from) change has been delayed to 2023 taxes instead of 2022. Now it's as before: you are only required to file the form if you received over $20,000 and processed over 200 transactions.

For now, all that can be avoided if you only receive PayPal friends and family payments...but that limits who will buy.

If you get audited by the IRS and lie to them (like saying so and so transaction was a gift when it was actually payment for a product), you can still get in trouble.

My terms of sale are my terms of sale. Things are clearly confusing about the changes PayPal has made/continues to make to G&S, so you should direct your energy towards them, since they broke something that worked fine and made it so many others like me won't use that service any longer. My feedback speaks for itself and I will not use G&S any longer. End of discussion.

Deal with it, or don't...I really don't care. Stop crapping in my listing to cry about things that don't affect you.

In fact, I'm closing the listing. I'd rather throw the amp away than keep arguing with annoying pendants with nothing better to do. It's so good we have this feedback system that apparently means nothing to anyone. What a petty, toxic community this is.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I'm not crying; I am simply telling the truth, since you were misinformed.

No one ever expressed any problem with your terms.

There's nothing to argue about. Just stating the facts. I'm sorry you think that is petty and toxic.
