I am looking for a pair of Beolab 5s or other Beolab of ALT generation or newer (excluding the 3, the 9, and perhaps 17 depending on price). Please let me know if you or anyone you know is selling. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads-up, but unfortunately not only is it in Canada (which makes shipping probably prohibitively expensive), the seller also has the good sense to sell it for the same price it went for new 15 years ago💀. Usually these things go for around a quarter of what this seller is asking, possibly less if you can find a good deal.

Ah that sucks, Hifishark doesn't seem to have anything in the US either. Maybe you can do a trade in or something at a b&o retailer? B&O is always hard to find :frowning2:

Haha, the B&O store in my city actually closed a couple years ago, and I have a feeling even if they did have some of the discontinued items I wanted in stock, they would be priced out of what I can pay. It is very unfortunate that B&O is so rare in the US, they do make some fantastic stuff.

B&O also closed up near me too lmao! I'm guessing charging 10k+ for speakers that aren't *The Best* still very good but we all know there are better speakers for the price. Isn't a good business model, I hope and I don't think, they will go out of business but who knows. My dream speakers are the Beolab 90 and I'm determined to get a pair.

Haha, that sucks! Tbf, given all the bs that exists in the high end speaker world, B&O is usually a good shout, at least you’re not getting complete rubbish (klipshhorns 🤔🤔🤔), and imo their design and UX is by far the best in the industry. In any case, looking at their financial reports they don’t seem to be doing too too poorly considering the macro environment (trying to gain marketshare as a fashionable high end lifestyle audio company). The Beolab 90s are definitely crazy (and perhaps unironically might have a claim to being the best in terms of absolute sound quality), but I’ve heard they’re not exactly the most popular with people who buy this type of stuff. I’m personally more partial to the design of the Beolab 50 (and have actually auditioned it with my own tracks whereas the store didn’t let me play anything I had on the Beolab 90s, probably a result of my taste in music 😔), but scrounging up enough money to buy one is going to be impossible 😩.
