I am selling a pair of Sony MDR-R10 headphone, one of the two units that I own. Used and in very good condition. The serial no. is 3xx, bass light version. The wood cup has a very rich wood color and tight, solid dark grain, looks better than many other r10s you see online. The two channels are strong, well balanced,and have no rattling or other defects. Still the best dynamic headphone I have ever heard, and for many years to come.

Overall the r10 has minor traces of use but still well preserved considering its age. The earpad is soft and not flat. The plug is shiny without rust marks.The bolt on the left circular headband frame has some imperfections. please refer to the photo for details. The foam inside and rubber damping is replaced with ES Lab supplies. Otherwise all other components in the headphone are original and not replaced. No modding is ever done on this set. The whole deal includes everything you see in the first photo, including replacement parts( foam, headpad, earpad, adhesive and cable) from ES Lab which pretty much covers what you may need in the future.

I am selling this set but not the other only for the fact that the woodcup of the other headphone has been opened. Both headphones have top notch performance and great for all genres of music, especially Classical and Vocal. While I have heard a lot of r10s that are in poor condition or poorly modified, The pair that I am selling has much of the r10’s character and strength preserved.
