Looking for $689 > $629 > $579 > $399 > $349 OBO + shipping CONUS.

Shows some signs of wear, small markings, small nick on the front corner and top-right edge (see album). Otherwise really quite clean and looking super aesthetic (part of why I was attracted to the Questyle design language). Typical analog volume pot imbalance at extremely low volumes (not an issue, just wanted to note)

Comes with the gunmetal top, as well as the clear acrylic top for you to see those pretty internals. Includes extra acrylic pane top, original remote, manual, etc. No original box.

UPDATE AND IMPORTANT NOTE: I sold this CMA600i a little while back, but accepted a return and issued a full refund as something went wrong with the USB DAC feature. Upon receiving it back, I verified that the amp section is working perfectly well (which is this unit's strongest suit anyway). However, I was unable to get the DAC to be recognized by my computer through USB. On the other hand, THE DAC IS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE THROUGH SPDIF OPTICAL INPUT - which is commonly preferred for the CMA600i, due to known issues with the AK4490 USB implementation. Note that this isn't an issue at all using SPDIF / Optical, been using it for years with no issue. Again, USB DAC is not working, SPDIF / Optical DAC input IS working perfectly. So if your motherboard has an optical out, this is basically a great, fully functional DAC / Amp.

Alternatively, if you plan to buy this just for the class-A amp section (which gets pretty high praise), I've priced it accordingly.

Thanks.

Still expensive. But is this amp/dac combo ?

I owned one of these previously and frankly I'm sorry that I sold it. The acrylic see-through top is a nice touch, the current mode amplification is unique, and I personally thought it sounded fabulous. Just my $.02

Is it powerful and neutral sound ? Why sell it ?

I thought it was definitely neutral, yes. I personally didn't detect any significant coloration.

"Powerful"? It's only 1.9W@32Ohm, but I was driving Fostex TH900 headphones, which are super easy to drive so I had zero problems. Might be a different on a planar for instance, I really couldn't say.

I ended up selling mine because I prefer discrete setups. At the time, a friend of mine was just getting into headphones and was looking for a nice DAC/amp combo, so I sold him my Questyle CMA600i.

I replaced the Questyle with a Topping stack (which also sounds fantastic), but the CMA600i was unquestionably a nicer desk ornament, in my humble opinion.

So mainly because of power ?

Sorry, I'm not sure I follow your question. But the power from the Questyle CMA600i was more than adequate, and very clean.

I personally sold my Questyle just because I prefer discrete setups--I like having the ability to mix/match DACs with amps.

Stupid question. What is the meaning of discrete setups ?

Oh, no worries! By "discrete" I just mean separate.

The DAC and amp in the CMA600i are built into one single unit. I like it when the DAC and amp are separate units so there is more flexibility to mix and match components.

But, that is totally just my personal preference.
