SONY Walkman WM1Z, the flagship of SONY DAP is still one of the best DAP in the high-end DAP market, the gold standard of highend DAP since 2016 which still sit along side with other more mordern flagship like the SP2000 or N8. Here is my set of SONY WM1Z bought in JABEN HONG KONG back in 2019 for about 3206USD (reciept provided) . (Region J Volume Uncap Model)

I used it about once or twice a week, only in the morning and after office hour when i am traveling back home, The play hour count is 1497:13 (about 62 days).


Most of its time this WM1Z is store within its original Box, No Pet & No Smoking Hifi room with all my electrostatic stuff.

I currently have Mr.Walkman Walkman One (Neutral) OS install within the player but can revert to the latest version of Original SONY WM1Z OS up on your request, to my understanding Mr Walkman Walkman One OS baically uses the DMP-Z1 OS and install it within this player and unlock some of the features which the original OS do not support like

• Switching the model (from "Settings" > "Device Settings")
• Native DSD playback over the 3.5 mm output
• DSEE HX AI (present on DMP-Z1)
• Hardware accelerated rendition of the UI
