Up for sale is a Campfire Audio Solaris SE, limited edition version of the renowned Solaris model with real Abalone faceplates and ceramic acoustic chambers which are unique to this Solaris model (and was also used in the special MW10 edition of the Andromeda). These superior chamber materials really improve the sound when compared to the models that use plastic chambers by reducing resonances. This is due to ceramic being denser than the plastic used in the other Solaris versions which ultimately lends to a more resolving and euphonic sound. This Solaris also uses an improved mids driver over the original Gold variant.

I am the only owner and these IEM's are in immaculate condition (See photos).They have been very well looked after and stored in an airtight container when not in use with a dehumidifier. This IEM is renowned for its balanced signature, its holographic soundstage and amazing imaging. I have not come across another IEM that is able to replicate the balance and holography that this IEM is able to achieve, no part of the frequency response is overlooked and they come across as extremely competent and complete. I'm sure if you are looking at this listing then you already know what they are all about.

This limited Special Edition of 900 units is widely regarded as the best version of the Solaris (See Head-fi and super best audio friends forums). It will come with all original accessories which are unused including all eartips (4 sets of Final E silicone tips, 3 sets of Campfire Audio Silicone Tips and 3 sets of Campfire audio foam 'Marshmallow' tips), a beautiful black leather case, cleaning tool, lapel pin and proof of purchase from Hifi Headphones in the UK. These were purchased in June 2020 so they still have 2 months of retailers warranty left on them and I know from others that Campfire Audio stand behind their products well beyond this.

To note, the faceplates of this unit are both single pieces of Abalone and are not constructed of multiple pieces that have been 'laminated' together which can be found on others (See photos). Photos really don't do them justice as they reflect and change colour to different lighting conditions. These faceplates are also completely unique, with no 2 models sharing the same pattern as another.

Also to note, this will come with a new and unused Campfire Audio 'standard' smokey Litz cable in 3.5mm termination rather than the 'super' smokey Litz which comes as standard. I no longer have the super smokey Litz but the only difference between them is the smaller gauge size, I couldn't hear a difference when testing.
These IEM's are now sold out and cost me £1600 less than a year ago, so alongside an awesome sounding IEM you also get a unique collectors item at a bargain price!
This is a very reluctant sale but they are not getting as much ear-time as I would like. They will be missed dearly and I will likely regret selling them in the future.
