Well, I was notified that the Borealis was back in stock, so I quickly pulled the trigger and about a week ago they showed up at my door.
I had been extremely interested in trying these out, as it seems to be (based on other reviewers) the natural progression for the HD6 line from Sennheiser. Now, while that may be true for the HD600, it certainly isn't the case for the HD650.
The Borealis is a flippin' detail monster... I was shocked at how well these headphones displayed imaging and detail through the music. It's an impressive headphone for sure, but not exactly what I am looking for, as I am more towards the HD650... laid back and warm.
This set will obviously come with everything that it was shipped with, so no issues there. I have had about 20 total hours with them, so basically new.
As far as trades... I am looking to get back in to the ZMF Aeolus again, so that would be my primary pick, but who knows... I might be interested in what you have, just let me know.
I am asking $800 shipped for it in the CONUS if you are just wanting to buy
