This is the legendary original Audio Technica AD2000 headphone not the newer X version. This has been out of production for a long time and is quite difficult to find. I bought it used here in Japan. I have only used it for about 5 hours but I dont know its usage history, its in great shape so it was very well cared for.

It is in very good shape for such an old headphone, the earpads have some wear on them, but otherwise I don't see any noticeable scratches or dings. The only old quirk I have noticed is that when the headband gets very cold it becomes loose, as in the clamping force lessens, but at room temperature or warm it retains its clamp it had when new. I cant tell if that is a flaw with this or a issue with the AD2000s in general, but will mention it in the interest of transparency.

This has a very unique sound that many people are crazy about. I really like these but I am trying to downsize my collection so I will let them go.

These will be shipped from Japan via Japan Post EMS. Shipping and fees are included in the price. There are some places I cant ship to and delays in many countries, in the past EMS was a 3 day service but these days it will frequently be slower than that.

The original box and manual are not included but it still has the original 6.3mm adapter.
