These are Audeze's Top-of -The-Line reference closed-back Planar type headphones the LCD-XC.
They use Audeze's exclusive Fazor technology which helps to give them an amazing phase response, greater frequency extension, smoother frequency response and remarkable 3D holographic imaging. They also have great detail retrieval.
This is the version with the lovely Bubinga Wood ear cups, the earpads are made from a premium lambskin leather all combining to make a truly high end listening experience. They had the original headband (which is also included - and shown in the photos), but I recently purchased the new 'Spring Steel Headband' which makes them more comfortable to use.
I am the second owner of the LCD-XC, unfortunately my circumstances have changed recently and I need to downsize my headphone collection. The original owner updated these to the latest drivers (approx. cost of £350), so with the headband and accessories these are pretty much the best version you can get (unless you want to pay nearly £2,500 for the 'alligator' skin versions!!!).
This comes with the bomb proof (OK- not really - but would protect against a significant drop) Pelican Case. This is water-tight and offers a great and safe storage for the LCD-XCs.
Also included is the cleaning kit - cloth and cleaner, an original balanced Audeze 4 pin XLR cable (2m?), a 4m Vandamme studio grade series 6.5mm cable and a 1m custom handmade 6.5mm cable. All of these work and have been tested, although I have mainly used the XLR cable with my amp. There is not the original Audeze 6.5mm cable or 6.5mm to 3.5mm adapter included. These can be picked up easily if required.

They will be sent Royal Mail recorded delivery - due to weight (and possible insurance), unfortunately the cost will be £25.00. Let me know if you know of better alternatives I could use. I aim to send within 2 working days of payment being received.
