Hello and thanks for looking!

Up for sale is a like-new Audeze LCD XC (Carbon cups), purchased in August 2020 (this is not the new 2021 update version). These were used for a bit and then kept neatly put away and they are in excellent condition. Originally purchased direct from Audeze, and I’m the original and only owner. Comes from a smoke and pet free home and with the original box, brand new original cable with 1/4" termination (never used), and the user guide and certificate cards (headphone stand shown in pictures is not included).

Asking for $800.00 including PayPal fees and shipping within the Continental US only (sorry, not looking to ship internationally at the moment, and not looking for trades, either). Ships from Southern California.

Feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks again for looking, and have a great day!

Good price for an excellent headphone, especially for jazz/acoustic music. Scales well with upgraded cables and reflects amp choices due to its transparency. GLWS!

Dumb questions... is this essentially just the closed back version of the LCD-X? Also, I’ve read reviews that said it’s the most neutral Audeze headphone and another one that said it’s the bassiest one. Thoughts? I have the LCD-2 classic closed, trying to figure out how they compare.

Also, what state are you in?

Thanks for asking! I think the XC is the closed version of the X but with slightly different tuning. I agree more with the neutral reviews, and no, I wouldn't say it's the bassiest, it's just neutral all around. Compared to the LCD2C Closed which I was able to demo at a CanJam, the XC is much more detailed and not as warm. The XC would ship from Southern California.

Thanks. All helpful. I like the Classic closed cans I have. Figured if these were both more detailed AND bassier, it’d be a no-brainer.

Ah, gotcha. Oh man, I'd be all over that, too! That, to me, ended up being my daily driver, the Dan Clark Audio Ether C Flow (but with ZMF Cowhide pads for that extra soundstage and crazy bass). I always just keep using that pair, so I can't justify keeping the XCs, though I enjoy their tuning and layering but not their weight.
