| About Me: |
I'm amazing in every way. My imagination is terrifying. Music nourishes my soul. |
| Interests (Hobbies, favorite activities, etc.): |
I keep fish, I read, I write, I study, and I cook better than most people my age. |
| What I do for a living: |
That's classified. |

I listen to Marduk, Darkthrone, Burzum, older Kekal [up to 1000 thoughts of violence], and most primitive, atmospheric or ambient black metal. I like funeral doom metal. Ahab, Mournful Congregation, Funeral, Worship, Skepticism, Virgin Black doesn't apply here, but I'll put them here anyway. Thergothon, in my opinion, is the best of the bunch. Paramaecium is doom but more death/doom. My Dying Bride is good. Death metal/Brutal Death metal/Goregrind: Carcass, Ghoul, Lividity, Malignancy, Guttural Secrete, Demilich, Wormed, Pustulated, Animals Killing People, Orchidectomy, Decapitated, Brodequin, Cephalotripsy, Frightmare, Disgorge [mex], Lord Gore, you get the idea. AMBIENT. Although all music is nourishment for my spirit, ambient is special. Eluvium/Mathew Cooper is the best, Fennesz, Brian Eno, Goldmund, The Tumbled Sea, Hammock, The Album Leaf, Alex Hephaestion [Ambient nights! you can get all of it free! he gives it away!] Acoustic stuff: Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Paul Baribeau. Let me say a word or 2 about Paul. He also gives his music away for free. His music is beautiful and raw and emotional. It sounds pretty bad. He's not a good singer. His lyrics really aren't great on first listen. You might even feel sorry for him, he's pathetic sounding. This is naive. Keep listening. But after hearing his albums once or twice, you're hooked. You begin to see the beautiful cascade of emotion and he paints a wonderful picture. I suggest you all go out and listen to "Never get to know" Boys like me" and "Rolling Clouds" and "Strawberry" and "Through the Wall". I like Dispatch and Modest Mouse, but I won't usually admit that. I think Trailer Trash is the second saddest song I've ever heard. "short love and long divorce" is such a heartbreaking thing to say. and you can hear it in his voice. So what's the saddest song I've ever heard? Big Rock Candy Mountain. A lot of people don't realize this, but that song is about homeless people waiting to die as winter approaches, because they have no shelter or food. Big Rock Candy Mountain is a Hobo's conception of Heaven. "I'll see you all this coming fall in the big rock candy mountain. " I get goosebumps. I could go on, but I won't. |
| Interests (non-headphone) |
Conspiracy Theories, UFOs, Meditation, Neurotheology, Astral experiences, Cooking, Astronomy, Readings every book I ever see, that's it. I'm dull. |
| Gear-Fi (Favorite Non-Audio Gear & Gadgets) |
I like japanese cutlery. Shun cutlery is great. I imagine it's similar to headphones of an audiophile quality. Once you've used a hand-forged japanese blade for cooking, you cannot use a lesser blade. |
