Ultimate Ears UE 6000
Sennheiser HD595 With pure stranded silver re-cable
Sennheiser PXC 250
Sony MDR-XB500 (FLIPPPING CRAZY BASS! Perfect for when im drunk! lol)
Denon AH-D510 - not bad for £20 ;) but wouldn't pay RRP.
Bose TriPort On-Ear Headphones (I was curious! give the abuse a break!) They gather quite a lot of dust; good thing they're in a case!
Aircoustic Beech Wood - Stay in the office drawer as the emergency pair. Broken + binned.
Sennheiser CX 300
Sony MDR E818LP
Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 2 - Great sound (When you pop the filters off, but useless cable!)
Sunrise SW-Xcape - Nice phoneGood with a nice seal, but silicone tips keep sliding out! Use Comply tips with these.
*Phonak Audeo PFE 122 - Sold* - Sweet, crystal clear. Worn them a now, Great phones, wish they had more bass - the impact is missing but clarity is great. Prefer stock tips as comply's recess the highs too much. SOLD but brilliant :(
Xears Bullet 120PRO - Worth their price, horrible driver flex though. Drives you up the wall!
ME Electronics A151 - Great value.
Xears Experience XE200PRO Walnut Edition - use the discount code and they are worth every penny. Driver flex is a pain though.
Fischer Audio Eterna (V1) - Stunning, now left earphone is not working, but the right is stunning :P haha
Sennheiser IE7 - Play with some ear tips (All you can think of) - When you get it right and EQ just a bit more treble - WOW!!
Miles Davis Trumpet - Probably becoming my faves. similar to IE7's
They do have nice weight and great bass. it has good texture and weight. My best all round pair. Surprisingly durable for the delicate looks.
Ultimate Ears 700 - Damn they're nice :D Missing deep bass weight but very comfy + accurate phones. "Borrowed" by my sister - dont think i'll be seeing these again :(
Sony XBA-4 iP - I honestly thought they were crap at 1st but except detail. Now detail is astonishing and bass is great! Use Comply's for fit. NEEDS A HEADPHONE AMP AND IT WILL SING. My personal fave. It's got an eccentric and energetic sound but I like it!
Ultimate Ears UE 900 - Read my comments in the forum if you reeaallyy want to know :)
|Headphone Amp Inventory
Fiio E7 DAC/AMP
Fiio E5, sometimes use my HK or Leema.
Musical Fidelity M1 DAC to one of these of course.
Using AudioQuest Cinnamon USB cables + Custom RCA's with Canare LV-77S to my Harman.
Sweet sound ;)
||PC or NAS or internet Radio.
iBasso DX50 w/ 16Gb Lexar 633x (fast read speeds)
Cowon S9 (8Gb Version)
Sony NW HD5 - a gem of an MP3 player, tough as hell, looks and size to kill! (SonicStage is a bit annoying but use it and it is a very good MP3 player and database!)
||Some cables I made with some neutrik jacks and RJ45's
3.5 to 3.5.s with ViaBlue t6's and 7n silver and 6n silver.
Some with Toxic cables too ;) they are special. Best value!
Some with single strand 6n silver - the lesson? dont use single strand silver for portability as after x months it will just break!
I have some Pailiccs jacks, but hard to work with and haven't worked them out (Not really tried to be honest)
See my gallery for a few pics!
Speaker Cable: Ecosse Reference ES 2.3 (yes the one with cotton insulation hehe) soldered using Mundorf 9.5% Silver solder to Cardas CAB banana plugs all sleeved + shrink wrapped in Carbon Fibre.
||Belkin surge master multi plug :S (some stupid name like that!)
|Other Audio Equipment
||Current: Leema Elements Integrated Amp w/Dac Upgrade Module (Sometimes use M1Dac but depends which side of the bed I get up on lol)
Speakers: Focal Chorus 807v
Old: Harman Kardon AVR 147 bi-amping a pair of Mourdant Short MS902i's, sounds nice enough for my 3.5 X 5.5 metre room.
Musical Fidelity M1DAC
Infinity TSS 500, Harman Kardon HK980 (Sold now though)
Oh, Creative DDTS-100 decoder to the Creative T7900. (Using optical to Creative to speakers does work SHOCKINGLY well with music - when backing singers sing it only comes out of rear channels, It is quite brilliant, Even better with movies and games) NOTE: The effect and atmosphere created is super - quality is ...well... it is a gaming system innit!
||3.5 to 3.5.s with ViaBlue t6's and 7n silver and 6n silver.
Some with Toxic Cables + Oyaide Jacks. Oyaide jacks are a winner!
Ecosse Reference ES 2.3 cables for speakers.
||A bit of everything. Hip Hop, soundtracks, rap, rock, a bit of jazz, but not that much.
A lot of chilled music, Cafe del mar, some classic etc. Yiruma, Zero 7, Mandalay.
