About Me:

If I ever had to hand someone a resume again it would just say this: "I've been to every state in the lower 48...Now that the paperwork is out of the way, let's talk it over." (At least that sounds like fun anyway.)

I usually listen to headphones when it's dark or raining.

Interests (Hobbies, favorite activities, etc.):

Hiking, poetry/literature (hard to beat The Beats), camping, festivals, concerts, dancing, eating, driving, gardening, generally trying to make the people around me feel comfortable, Air-cooled VWs, any cultural happening whether I get it or not (the annual Bristol Motor Speedway races for example), family, friends, running (while I walk) the dog, the American Arts and Crafts movement (think Gus Stickley, not art that involves popsicle sticks), Historic architecture, reading, riting and rithmetic...and what not.

What I do for a living:

Youth Programs Manager at Second Harvest Food Bank

Headphone Inventory

Sony MDR-7506, Grado SR80i, Grado RS1i, Sennheiser HD 650

Headphone Amp Inventory

WA6 SE

Source Inventory

Emotiva ERC-2

Cable Inventory

Comcast Basic (no HBO) :)

Other Audio Equipment

I have a cassette deck and one working speaker in my '78 Bus. But my '94 Honda system ain't half bad really. And I've got an old Pioneer component stereo that helps me share my music with the neighbors and townfolk. (I'm putting all my resources--for now--into a decent headphone set up.)

Audio-Related Tweaks

Sometimes when I hit a pothole in the Bus, the other speaker almost makes a sound, but not quite.

Music Preferences

Folk , Bluegrass, Jazz, Classical, Blues...and I'll give any music a try that's inherently improvisational. Ya know, The Warlocks, etc.

Interests (non-headphone)

Seeing the Univ. of TN football team not in a "rebuilding year".

Gear-Fi (Favorite Non-Audio Gear & Gadgets)

We've got an automatic pallet-wrapping machine at our warehouse that's pretty sweet.
