using text books under all my components works better than any of the isolation feet imho and a lot cheaper i also imho have found that placing the headphone amps vertically and not on their feet that they seem to sound tighter when placed on their side(seemed to work better on both amps) on the burson this placing is still very stable but with the rapter be careful the raptor amp module is much lighter than the burson because the power supply is outboard.
