100% DIY SE-SE "The Wire" based on schematics, with my own LM317/337 tracking prerregulator, CRCRC filtered power supply. -114 dB noise floor and dynamic range, 0.0009% THD... the same as my Xonar DX's lineout. Just a wire with gain! Remove the CRCRC filter, up the gain and it can even drive my old Sony SS-H551 speakers without breaking a sweat. Nice! Powerful little amp. |
