Best to Worst: Fostex T50RP - MODDED, Balanced, forward with wide soundstage. Estimate: $800 of SQ Grado SR80i - MODDED, More Bass, more balanced, more forward. Estimate: $300 of SQ Sony MDR-V6 - Stock Brainwavz M1 - Stock, coupled with FiiO E5 Kanen KM-740 - MODDED, more EVERYTHING. Estimate: $70 of SQ. Coupled with FiiO E5 Koss PortaPro - MODDED, more comfort, better bass and highs. Estimate: $50 of SQ Koss KSC75 - Stock, stolen by Mother Sony earbud - Stock with cable tie Previously owned: Audio-Technica ATH-AD500 - UNMODDED, more soundstage, more Clarity. Returned because didn't replace V6 Sennheiser HD598 - Stock - Sold. Never liked the comfort and my T50RP pushed it aside. Auditioned: Too many to count, too many to list here. |
