Ha! Waste money on cables? 12 Ga speaker cables and coaxial interconnects, that's it. Need something better than Monoprice bananas though - they get loose over time. |

Good rock. No hair bands, thanks. Much classic rock, new wave, '90s alternative, and a fair amount of electronic music - techno, house, big beat, trip hop, industrial, and more. No trance or pop country (i.e. Hank Williams and Johnny Cash are good, Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift are not). Also; jazz, rockabilly, blues, zydeco, ska, a little bit of early rap and hip hop (e.g. Arrested Development, Africa Bambaata, Beastie Boys), reggae, classical (particularly Holst, Wagner, and Beethoven), a little bit of classic vocal pop Some of my favorites are the Beatles, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Talking Heads, Bob Marley, Brazilian Girls, Sam Cooke, Björk, Orbital, Fatboy Slim, the White Stripes, Louis Prima, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Smashing Pumpkins, the Cranberries, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Kraftwerk, Taj Mahal, Traffic, and more than I can really list here. |
