About Me:

Old Fart, one dead ear, no stereo! You won't hear me talking about soundstage! Tube aficionado.

What I do for a living:

Market Modeling, statistical analysis

Grado SR60
BeyerDynamic BT880 (broken- only one ear works, but that's OK for me)

Headphone Amp Inventory

Mapletree Audio HD+ Super-II (EL84 output tubes, 12AX7 input tubes)
McIntosh MCD7007 (CD Player w. integrated HPA amp)

Cable Inventory

Make my own, lots of experimenting

Music Preferences

Mostly classical, + world music, some folk, blues, alt-country, adult alternative (whatever the hell that is)

Interests (non-headphone)

Whitewater kayaking, sports car racing, restoring vintage tube amplifiers (at least a dozen in various states of disrepair at any given time). Currently rebuilding a few Tektronix scopes from the mid-70's.

Gear-Fi (Favorite Non-Audio Gear & Gadgets)
