Bought a pair of RP-21s from Lou.

As usual, the package arrived in record time, 1 day!

Great guy to do business with, ships very fast, and usually sells his gear at bargain prices. He is definitely a great asset to Head-Fi.

And I am happy to announce that he has QUIT SMOKING, Woo-Hoo, GO LOU! Make sure you stick with it buddy!

I quite smoking on JUN 1st. 20 days ago. The RP-21 came from a smoke free home. Thank GOD I am able to stop that rotten habit. I feel alot better in the short 20 day of a smoke free life.

Good for you, Lou. Congratulations!

I detected a very faint smell of smoke on the phones, so my guess is that comes from them being in a room (or area) that was at one time heavily smoked in. Us silly ex-smokers have very sensitive noses when it comes to cigarette smoke I tell you! And as an ex-smoker myself, I know it can take a while to get smoke oder out of a room or house that was once inhabited by a heavy smoker. But as mentioned, the smell was faint, unlike when I bought another pair of phones from you a while back where the smell was overpowering.

At any rate, I am very happy to hear that you quit smoking. Keep up the good work man. I will edit my post, and I apologize for saying you were a smoker, when you did indeed have quit! Silly me.

Bought a pair of Hippo VB off Lou. They showed up VERY quickly and well packed.

 

Great head-fier!

 

Edit: Just checked, I bought them from him on Friday and had them in my ears on monday!!!
