New Year, New Job, New Headphones?

OK. So I posted before I was authorized and my post was removed. (That's the way it should be.)
Basically my new job will require a lot of travel. I like the sound of my Grado SR-125's but they really won't stand up to travel (plane, rail, etc.). I'm thinking that it would be good to have a "budget" pair for actual travel and something to replace my Grado's while in hotels etc. I'm thinking in-ear types for travel and open for general listening.
So long story short.....What would you recommend? Are two a good idea? What are your thoughts?

Thanks,

Pete.

well whats your "budget"?

If you like your Grados I'd suggest Koss portapros for open cans.
Can't help you with in-ear.

Etymotic ER6i's for travelling, and if you can be bothered carrying another pair of headphones, Sennheiser 595s for your hotel.

Budget.

fr4c,
Good point.
I'd like to keep the total budget to less than $200 for both (or one to do the job of both). I listen to all types of music but mostly soft/smooth jazz. Source while on the road would be a Sony Diskman or laptop with an mp3 (.ogg) player in the near future.

Thanks,

Pete.

um, A900 fits your bill, but i'm not sure whether you want to wear them outside though.

or you can do ER6 for portable and A500 for home.
