I want a good isolation canal earphone with comfort and sound quality up there and isolation second.

I have a hard time choosing between the 2 as i dont really know the 2's strengths and weaknesses.

I listen to all kinds of music but mostly electronica, hip-hop, jazz and trance/techno.

Which set do you think i should use?

I think you should use the search. There are millions, maybe even trillions of threads on this exact subject.

this comparo has been beaten to death. there are lots of polls if you look hard enough.

what are you going to be using them with? IMO, the Ety6is are a better set.

etys then for sure. even with EQ, the shures sounded dull and rolled in a lot of the freq. ranges. also, since the shures are a lot more sensitive, i found them to pick up a lot more static and noises i didn't hear on the iPod with the etys. (ie, the HD spinup problem).

also the ER6i are white, so it sorta matches the iPod.......if thats what you want.
