ER-4p or S??? For ipod

Ok, so I still am planning on using my newly purchased HD 595s for my ipod but the more i read about the ER-4s the more i want those too.

As far as which model is better, the P series do not need amplification, but is the sound quality close to S or not? Added bass response would be nice true, but not if it dampens the overall quality of the phones. Planning on getting an amplifier for my HD 595s for portability, and now i think im getting ER-4s too, just which one is better to you?

Go the way i did - ER-4P with P>S convertor from Xin Technology Best of both worlds!
