My wife and I just got back from our local Ikea. I bought one of these hoping to use it for.....well, you know

It works well for Grados and Sennheisers....not so sure about the AT cans though.

I got home from vacation, and my roommate had bought a banana stand, and put bananas on it. First time I've seen that....sad.

there was a time when i used "head" type stands or a type of wood stand where the headphones were held on by the force of the headband but i began to notice many ended up with compressed earpads which took WAY too long to "reform" back to their original size so i now only go with "hanger " style devices.

something to think about.

does look way cool though

I think I'm going to pick up THIS version at IKEA tonight...

Very Easter Island-ish. At only 12" high OA, I can't imagine the corresponding width will be great enough to stretch headbands or compress pads too much , at least for short term use...
