I'm about to order the Sony MDR-V6's from Etronics. If I don't like them, I'd like to return them for a refund and etronics is one of the few online merchants I've seen to carry the V6 and offer a satisfaction guarantee. I sent a service rep. an email to see whether or not there was a restocking fee to be paid if I didn't like the product and sent it back. He said that as long as it was returned in the condition that it was shipped, I should be fine, although he wasn't 100% since he isn't the shipping manager.
I'm still not clear as to whether I can actually try the product before sending it back or if it must be sealed and unopened. Has anyone returned an item to etronics in new condition and still had to pay a restocking fee?
