Ultrasone pro 2500 V.S Grado RS-1 V.S stax omega II V.S Senheisser hd 650

What is the characteristic of the above headphone?
Anyone compare the above headphone?
Any review of Ultrasone pro 2500 headphone?

Which one is better for classical music without colouration?

search baby search. tons of info in the forum
FYI specific questions get answered in a jiffy. these tend to get left to brew

I only heard the RS-1

I'm not a big classical fan, but I like the HD650 more for it than the RS1. The RS1 does make it a little interesting though.

I heard them all except the Ultrasone pro 2500 which I haven't heard.

The HD650 are better for classical than the RS-1 but the Stax 007 w/ the KGSS is better than both of them by far, amazing for classical msuic with no color to speak of.

Stax Mafia Never Dies! ;)

I prefer the DAC1->XLR->HD650 (w/ balanced Zu Mobius) over the Omega II/Blue Hawaii system, but I can see why others would prefer the electrostatic rig or even the balls-to-the-walls sound of a Gilmore/RS-1 system. I have yet to hear the 2500 but I have heard the Ultrasone Edition7 (which some claim pioneered the technology used in the 2500); I prefer the RS-1, HD650 and Omega II to the Ultrasone Edition7.
