Help with source Selection....

Quick question...

Whats the best way to switch between sources? I have a technics CD player, T40 laptop and Creative nomad MP3 player. I feel like a 1950s telephone switchboard operator everytime I want to switch source components.

Is a hi-fi stereo preamp my ONLY option? Is there an alternative? I would prefer a passive switch circuit, IMHO that would be ideal since all Im doing is trying to noiselessly switch sources. I dont need the tone shaping capability of most home stereo preamps... especially if theres the risk of them introducing noise/hiss.

I am open to pro audio gear too.

Check out the Quintête Audio Switcher at Fid-Audio. He's a member here as well.
