So.....I will be able to Foobar my Airports Express (once I get it) and won't have to convert to Apple Lossless or any of that crap?

It looks like it is a mac only product. Do you know if there is a pc version. This would be great if I can use it on my pc.

It mentions Windows Media Player on the page there, so I assume that means there will be a Windows version.

Hack open an Airport, rig up some batteries and with this you can stream while you lounge around! cool

You can get WMP on the mac, so maybe it won't come to the pc. If its possible then it will only be a matter of time till someone has a PC version.

I probably should've figured that out. Every once and a while I do google searches for AX hacks in the hopes there would be something that would allow me to stream FLAC files. It looks like this may be the answer.

So far at least the company only makes OS X products (nearly all audio related and I can vouch for at least three of them), so a Windoze version is in doubt.
And there's a Windows Media Player on Mac, just like there's Apple Quicktime on Windows.

The only thing stopping someone from streaming to AirPort Express from anything is that it requires Apple Lossless compression. It seems the developers of this application have found a way to use the Apple Lossless encoder outside of iTunes on Mac OS X.

It would likely use QuickTime.
