I am on the hunt for a high end dvi-d cable. I am currently using the monster version. On my plasma display there is a lot of artefacting and there is a lot of digital residue. Can anyone recommend crystal clear picture quality cable? Also where would I be able to get it from and what is the cost. Thanks for any advice.

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

I've had this card for quite a while now, and I have to say its a really nice card - a huge step-up to my on-board motherboard's audio. At first I do have to admit, it didn't feel like the D1...

Long story short: These earbuds, shouldn't ever be bought, when they come free in your iPod package, its fine to look at them, and try them on. If you know someone wanting to buy these,...

Are you sure it's the cable and not the source or source material?

I think it is the cable. When I used the component input/output of my dvd player it was a better picture. But I thought dvi output was the highest possible output along with hdmi. The aretefacting is distracting. I bought this dvd player for the dvi-d output so that I could get the best possible picture available. Or could it be that the dvd player is displaying what other dvd players cannot?

It could be various things.... noise reduction can be done on analog inputs making it not as noisy, the decoding of the dvd is buggy. Not all DVD players output the same quality. Some player's component output is better than other's DVI/HDMI.
So it's artefacting you see on many different DVDs? What is the model of the DVD player?

I use a denon dvd-a11. The artefacting appears on most of my dvds. But on digital encoded dvd's it is almost perfect.

Maybe your Monster cable's super ferrite neo-ring vulcan shielding has refused to work, resulting in noticable artifacts? (no offense to you or your purchasing decision, of course
)

Strange. I wonder what kind of artifacting this is. It's a pretty decent DVD player
so it shouldn't look that bad. Is it setup properly with the screen?
