What's the significance of your username?

Mine? "Mr. Superlove" is a name of a song played by The Afghan Whigs. It's originally by The Ass Ponys. I've never heard the original, but love the Whigs' version.

"You may not believe me, baby, when I tell you that I am Mr. Superlove"

So what's yours all about?

Mine has been my nickname from my freshman year at college. My teammates (cross country) started calling me Thaddy for some reason, and the name stuck.

My name evolved from someone I made up when I was younger. I was into rpgs a few years back, so it was like a compiled hero. "He" mirrored my life. Both my dark side and good side, an internal war of sorts. Funny thing is, I'm getting closer in reality to that fictional person, in a good sense. Except for the superpowers. :P The nicknames that my friends call me are (in order of use) Chan, Brains, Chandizzle. (I hate the last one)

Mine is derived from the trance duo Above and Beyond. If anyone listens to trance, they may (rather they should) recognize the alias.

What's the significance of your username?

It is I believe insignificant; my first name coupled with my initials. I should have been clever and thought up a name that was obscure.

It is simply my second name backwards. I go by the name Brad, but I found that when I wanted to use that name on a forum, some other impostor had usually got there first and already used it.

Having seen some of the more weird and wonderful names around I sometimes wish I had chosen something more enigmatic. Maybe I should have gone for Enigmatic, but hey, Yeldarb it is and I guess Yeldarb it will stay.

Mine is a song by the Smashing Pumpkins that I used to like a few years back, I've been using this handle on forums/games for the past 3 or so years.

'philodox' is from a roleplaying game called 'Werewolf: The Apocalypse'. It is one of the 'auspices' associated with a moon that a werewolf can be born under. Those of the philodox auspice are supposed to have great honor and wisdom.

I've recently discovered that it is also a word in the english language that means 'lover of ones own opinion'.

How embarrasing.

I misspelled the name of a spoof superhero who saves the world through his bhangra dancing in white nylon suits. It was funny maybe once. I'm getting kind of fed up with this name to be honest.
