Hi everyone,
This is my first post, so let me first express my grateful thanks to all the contributors to this site. I have learned so much from all your remarks, reviews, and rants
.
This is a wierd one: does anyone have both the fix-up 75-Ohm adaptor (ER-4P -> 4S) and an ER-6? How much less sensitive would the ER-6's be with the adaptor attached?
I guess I'm one of the bizarro listeners who occasionally listen to their Senn 600's at very low volumes. How low? With my TA, the dial sometimes never gets more than 45-degrees past the zero mark (!), esp. with dynamically compressed pop/rock CD's. The ER-6's being much more sensitive, I was hoping to lower its sensitivity a bit without significantly altering its sound.
Before someone suggests it, I do own the Radioshack volume cable, but I don't like to use it since it doesn't sound very good -- loss in dynamics, mostly.
James
