Are these proper XLR female Connectors??

I'm in the market for 2 Neutrik XLR Female connectors to transform my Sennheiser 650 stock cable into a balanced xlr connection for use with my Dac1. However, I'm not certain if the product on the following link is what I want. Can someone confirm that this is a proper XLR Connector that can be used in my situation? Thanks!

Those female connectors look more like they are suited for chassis mount than for use on the end of a cable.

I'm not sure if you can use 4 pin, but these seem to be better suited.

No, that's not what you want. Those are panel mounts. Try..

Pin 2 -signal (red and green)
Pin 3 -ground (copper)

Senn cables have a slight coating on the wires, so after you strip and trim the wires, put the bare wires on the soldering iron to melt the coating. Wipe off and then tin the wires.

Just did the mod last week and the sound is definitly for the better. I worried about the wire not being think enough for the Neutrik chuck to grab, but it worked out just fine.

Have fun.
