HD650

I'm currently waiting for my new but Used HD650s from a member. I'm wondering what would be a nice amp for this bad boy around $500 or so. If its cheaper but still pounds then that would be good also.

I'll be listenining to pretty much all sorts of music also. And would tube be better for these cans?

I think for the money the Woo 3 Tube amp would be an excellant choice for you. It works very well with the HD-650's. As for a solid state amp I use a custom one. So I am sure someone will reply with some choices for you.

I hope this helps a little.

single power ppx3, as many before me have said(do a search) is killer. im using one with my 650's. there might be better, but not for $500.

Yea, I realized this after the post and I can't delete it so instead of posting 2 times, I thought I should just let this one sit.

I just posted somewhere else...I just got HD650s yesterday and like my LISA III with the phones...pushes them very very well...


I have always been suggested the WA6 with Pseudo Power Supply
