FS: rare Micromega Stage 4 c.d.p.

I'm selling a seldom-seen Micromega Stage 4 CD player. Although out of production, the Stage series is sought after for its sweet-sounding analogue output stage. Often described as one of the most "analog-sounding" digital sources at its price point. I don't disagree -- I just can't afford it right now.

Included will be the CD player itself, the Micromega remote control, power cable, and original box. This unit is in perfect operating condition; never any issues with the transport or the laser. There are some scratches on the top of the player, and one small chip on the lip of the faceplate. I would rate it a very high "7" on the Audiogon scale. Pictures are forthcoming.

I'm tentatively asking $300 plus shipping (to the US) for this player. The price is negotiable, and the first offer I consider reasonable will be accepted. Paypal preferred, no fees. PM or email me.

I've owned a NAD c541i, and this player is on a completely different level.

Still available. I'm lowering the price to $300 plus shipping. I swear, it's a steal.

Does it have a female IEC at the back for aftermarket cables?

Yes, I should have mentioned that the power cable is detachable, so you can swap in any cord you like. Thanks Philodox.
