Happy Thanksgiving!!!! - Page 2

Happy Thanksgiving! We started the day early. The whole family, wife, kids, inlaws and brother in law did the Turkey Trot 5k. Now we don't have to feel guily stuffing ourselves later.

I have so much to be grateful for this year. It has been an incredible one. I am grateful to God for much this year. I plan to share the wealth by contributing to Head-Fi as a Christmas gift next month.

I'm thankful for a lot, especially the deals I've been given, not just with gear, but in school too.

I hope everyone in the kingdom of Head-Fi had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and that you all have more to be thankful for this year than previously.

mushy stuff coming.
I'm thankful for another year.
I'm thankful for this site of music lovers unlike some other's I've seen where emotions get the better of people. Because in the end, we all put on our headphones on just the same.

Well, I've had a Turkey sandwich yesterday, but being thankful to the Creator is more important than that. I'm thankful that I got my car fixed and was able to pay for it. I'm sure all Head-Fiers have a reason to be thankful for if enough thought and contemplation is applied to the task.

Cheers!

oh I dunno, shoulda had some headphones on to be in total character with the site theme and considering the time of year he looks way too happy.

By the way-we have a large wild turkey population here in this part of connecticut and it is not unusual to come across them in the early morning on the way too work.
a domestic turkey has got to be the ugliest bird on the planet earth but the wild turkey is one of the coolest.watching ten or so cross the road in front of your car while they look at you daring you to move is a very impressive sight and one i never get used to even though i see it often.
Another impressive sight is in the spring when thier minds turn towards propagation of species.Watching two males all puffed up circling each other and dancing to impress while the females stand in a group watching from ten feet away is very high on my my cool list

just some thanksgiving turkey lore from the rickmeister to you city folks and those from countries not having wild turkeys.

I ever tell you the one about the racoons that visit my back porch every single night then the possum that follows when the coast is clear ?

We have the same kinda thing ... the raccoons come along then the possums follow and the resident skunk comes along shortly there after.

It was cool when they started bringing their young ones along.

Ever seen a Raccoon and a cat duke it out before?
The neighbors cat has it's *** handed to it by the mama raccoon one night last summer and hasn't been the same since.

Oooopps sorry about the OT reply.
