There was an Audiogon ad today for a pair of Grado HP-1 headphones with a Grado RA-1 amp thrown in, all for $500. Wow!!!

ARGH!

BTW the RA-1 looks in bad shape, but who cares. I'm sure everyone would have bought the HP-1 for 500 alone, eh?

I swear, this is the second HP-1000 in two weeks that I've missed on Audiogon by about 5 minutes. I always check "new items" and when I last checked it, I saw every item up to the HP-1 and the five before it. Damn luck.
