Up for consideration is a flash based mp3 player. I recently recieved a minidisc for birthday, so I'm going back there. Now, these it's just lying around and hopefully I can sell it and help pay for my books.

It has internal 128MB + expandable up to 643MB through SD. Takes 1 AAA battery, which lasts for about 10 hours. Ummm, it plays both mp3s and WMAs and transfers through USB 1.1. It is very durable (CF built in memory), has nicely layed out buttons (no need to look at it to control), easy to upload (shows up as removable drive - driverless on w2k+), pretty good looking, and extremely small (2 " / 2" / .7" inches). It has a fairly readable screen that shows you the ID3 tag, however the screen is not backlit. Lastly, it also stores data on the external SD and internal, which is very handy. This ones perfect for running!
