what cables do i need? emu 0404

i have an emu 0404 and want to connect em to my headphones. I got a 1/4 inch stereo to mono thingy and it doesnt work lol.

NOTE: i'm not using an amp so i need to go from either the 1/8" (or 1/4" with adapter) to the two female 1/4" outputs on the 0404.

What cables do i need and what stores can i buy em at (radioshack,circuit city,best buy,sam ash, guitar center?)

Doesn't the Emu have a headphone output? I'm don't think what you're suggesting would work. You could connect the phones as you said, but I think that output is a line out. You need an amplifier to drive headphones and that output does not have one AFAIK (every headphone jack you have ever seen has an amplifier behind it). I'll wait for more experienced members to chime in, but how could the Emu not have a headphone jack?
