Sigh, it's that time of the year when my credit card bills are piling up and i can't justify my previous purchases, so i'm selling this baby although it kills me.
The very rare Rotel RDP-980 is the DAC component of a Rotel Transport (RDD-980)/DAC combo. That combo was given a stereophile 'class a' ranking a few years back. I purchased the DAC from a reputable store in the Chicagoland area about half a year ago and it was thoroughly checked before i purchased it.
The best part of the DAC, besides its detailed yet warm sound is that it has four different coax or opti inputs. For example i had a transport, dvd player and airport express hooked up to it with no problems whatsoever. The unit is in excellent condition with some minor scratches on the top. It's a hassle to post pictures so pm me if you would like to see it.

Also i have a 16ft acoustic research pro toslink cable i could throw in for a marginal fee (7 dollars?)
