I found it on the Sharp USA web site as well, however, I wonder if one can actually buy it in USA. So far I haven't been able to find any shop selling it. I haven't even been able to find out how much it costs. Does anybody have an idea?

At the moment I think I'm more interested in a Marantz SA14...

According to this, the DX-SX1's MSRP is US$2,999...yikes. I'm leaning towards picking up one of those lovely new Marantz SA8260s for SACD playback..

I have heard it together with the Sharp digital amplifier. It sounded very, very good. The whole system was carefully matched and I can't single out the exact contribution of the CDP. In the German Stereoplay Magazine it is rated as better than all the Sony SACDs, especially on redbook performance.
