One of Sony's finest early model portables. It is near mint condition with no visible scratches or dings. The player is kind of gunmetal gray in color (not black, but darker than gray). It uses one of Sony's proprietary batteries but can also use two AA batteries. I have the original box and AC adapter (I think) but do not have a Sony battery.
