In late July I ordered an iPod from Amazon using an Audible discount. I then gave my 1G iPod away to a friend for his birthday. Two days later Amazon delayed the shipment... and then delayed some more. July then August passed. So three weeks ago after waiting and making four calls to Amazon I got tired of being portable-less and ordered one from Crutchfield. Then a week ago the Amazon box arrived. Before I send it back, I thought I'd offer it here first. I got it for $299 - with the $100 discount. That $100 discount though will actually cost me $180 in Audible fees over the course of a year (but I'll get some audio books). So to contribute a bit for that I want to split the discount. Hopefully a win-win situation.
I'm selling for the next couple days (if no one is interested I'll just send it back), a 40 GB shrink wrapped 4G iPod (even the Amazon box has yet to be opened) for $349. I'll take PayPal, but if you use an account with a credit card I ask you to handle the fees. A checking only account has no fees. I have accounts for either. I want to avoid checks and money orders for this specific sale, because I either want to sell or ship back shortly and a delay in sending a check and the bank processing could eliminate a return. I'll cover shipping, but if you want insurance I ask that you take care of that.
The only other option is I'm now looking for a pair of AT A900s. If you have a pair in perfect condition and willing to let it go for used prices, I'd consider a trade plus cash from you.
