I am having a dilemma. Series attenuators require absolutely good resistors since you have to get signal thru many of these resistors. I do not like that.

I am currently working on different attenuator design. This attenuator work well only with low impedance source output. This fixes the resistance from input of the amp and to the ground. Attenator changes input impedance while keeping the impedance seen my the amp input constant.

Assuming the total impedance of attenuator stays relatively large compared to output impedance of the source, it should work fine. Whatcha think??
