Among others, what I usually lug around with me is either a standard or armour-plated (no really) Halliburton case. If I'm not carrying those or maybe even as an addition, I'll usually have a leather satchel or a computer-bag type thing.
In many situations though, said satchel or computer-bag thing is practically empty. All I usually need are my phones, organiser, keys, wallet, iPod, a couple of tins not containing mints, a tin containing mints, a couple of pens and so forth. So for practical reasons the idea of getting a Manbag has become very attractive right now.
But there are of course social issues at stake here, especially as you could never in a million years on seeing my "oh dear, he's let himself go a bit hasn't he?" profile have any illusions that I'm a 'metrosexual'. I'm not really a snappy dresser... I buy all manner of designer gear, but I have the amazing ability to make a $500 pair of trousers look like $50.
Would my 'laissez-faire' wardrobe offset the perceived gayness of a Manbag? Would you use one? If so which would you recommend?
