WTB or WTT HP-1000 HP-2 or HP-3

Hello all,
I am interested in buying or trading for a HP-1000 HP-2 Grado headphones. I currently own the HP-1s and I would like to add the HP-2 or HP-3 to my grado collection. Please let me know if you are interested in selling or trading for those phones.

Aren't the HP-2's just HP-1's without the polarity switches? Why bother, exactly?

because the HP-2's sound better, well if you get the ones with the special cables.

I am sorry KR. I strongly DO NOT think the HP-2 will sound better than the HP-1. I am interested in getting it mainly for collecting purposes, hence the reason to get HP-2 AND HP-3.

Lastly, for those that are NOT interested in selling or trading the HP-2, I strongly prefer if you do not post in this thread.
