The old SR-40 was discontinued a while ago (I think you could still find a few of them in a few stores them if you looked really hard earlier this year) and the new SR-40 replacement hasen't even been announced yet.
If you are referring to the "streetsyle" prototype that Grado had at the last NY meet, I am curious about this too. They sounded great and were more portable than the SR-60.
The new Grado cans are in the works but no date has been set for their appearance. I have high hopes that the new portable headphone will really kick butt.
