headphone sightings? - Page 55

This is not really a headphone sighting as such, but I guess it just fits here.

I was in an Audiologist in northern Sydney today for a hearing test (Advanced Audiology) and asked about ear impressions. Turns out that a while ago a guy came in with very specific instructions as to how he wanted ear molds done, to have a custom mold for his headphones. The Audiologist said he had this 'complicated system' which looked like a 'mobile phone gone wrong.' Sounds very much like a Head-Fier, was it anyone here? :P

Wasnt me, but I've sighted plenty of closed Sennheisers in Sydney.

Mostly low-end stuff, but occasionally something stands out. A businessman suited up, walking round town with some HD25's caught my eye near Pitt St mall, Uni student on the train listening to some HD-590's and a guy on a bus in eastern sydney with HD-280's and his portable private CD collection in his bag.

Dont know why you would choose HD280's if youre a bus commuter though....

my brother was watching disney channel tonight, and there was some kid singing.. and my brother goes "look jonny!! beyerdynamics!!"

and there was some kid wearing some dt770's around his neck!

you should have took a picture!!

if i were homeless, i would try to aquire some good headphones and a good source some how too... you got to at least have good music everywhere you go, no?

I've seen one person wearing Grado SR-60s to class, one with KSC-75s, and one person wearing Grado 325's when buying something from the store. I talked to the guy wearing the 325's, but he didn't seem to understand the greatness resting on his ears

The rest are all garbage iBuds or assorted Sony phones...and my roommate has Skullcandy cans that leak like crazy (MUCH worse than my Grados, which is saying something).

Man I never see anyone with any good iem's or headphones...I think I have to move to a different location..lol..
I see some people wearing headphones of the same style as the Koss KSC75's, and when I tell them about the KCS75's and how good there are for the money they look at me like I'm crazy..
Most of the people I see at the gym have ipods and they use the Sony iems..or just the stock ibuds..
There is this one guy that wears a fanny pack with some portable CD player and some gigantic cheap Sony cans while he's on the treadmill..

Recently I saw someone else wearing a pair of K81DJs, another person wearing a K171S and a host of people wearing K24s and K26s.

I saw a dude wearing A900's at Yonge/Bloor subway station a couple days ago. I was quite pleasantly surprised.
