the funny thing is, you never notice these other head-fiers unless you're one of them

I've actually seen around 10-15 within a month, since becoming interested in music/headphones

as compared to "seeing" none, for the past 20 years ;D

In my school, I see people wearing ksc75's, a lot of gumy's, few marshmallows, too much v150's, a sony MDRXD200, and some bose phones. Lots of Ibuds and other crappy miscellaneous buds.

Here in the 6-3-6, I go to the YMCA to work out in the morning, and there are lots of suburban movers and shakers (rofl) with DAPs. They all seem to be using the buds that came with the player.

I know I'm the only one with E4c's. It shuts out the noise from the spinning class, the chatty and snooty moms, and the guys that are trying to talk tough.

Yesterday I saw a girl wearing AKG K81DJ on the subway.
...and of course the was a couple of Koss PortaPro's, Sony Ericsson earbuds and iBuds there as well..

Funny, I didnt pay attention to what students were wearing before Head-Fi. Now I am always looking, I wish I had a nice fast Digital Cam with long Tele so I can capture what they are.

I was in my schools bookstore, and they had Senn CX300's, some Sony's IEM's, Sony Bud Clipons, some hella cheep TDK street style (like $8 USD). But in the back in a secure display case are, to my surprise, ER-4P's!

There were afew empty displays out with the others, and I suggested to the store buyer/manager to get some KSC75's and JVC HAFX33's. I told him how many times they get recommended here at Head-Fi, and he said he would try and stock them

Over the summer, on a backpacking trip, i saw someone backpacing on isle royale, (remote island in lake superior) wearing massive sony headphones, not sure what kind.

The other day I saw some guy with what I believe are ER-6is in the dining commons. I'm not an Ety person so I don't know the exact model, but it was black with white/clear triflanges.
It made me really happy--but I mentioned it to my friends and they gave me a blank look

I've done two quite interesting sightings this last couple of weeks.

First of was the to appear on some big dude's head.

Then just a week ago, the (!) appeared on a wealthy young mans head walking in city. He was a friend of a friend of mine, so I got a closer look!

Now, when i come to think of it I've also spotted a grado/alessandro SR60,80,125 OR MS-1.

And some Ultrasone HFI-15G to! (I guess they're on the border to beeing not that intresting to spot, but I haven't seen them more than once!)

And some Triports, a couple of times!

Saw a kid at my school today with sr60's, I was suprised and stared, and then gave him a thumbs up which he returned.

dt770 must have been popular with giuterists. ive seen a couple at campus.
i also saw someone w/ k240s................i was shocked.
