Glad you like the Horisont, they might have been one of my recommendations last year for their first three albums. They toured the U.S. for the first time last fall and were awesome. They're coming back in April!

Out today:

Alunah - Solennial

Funny story..so i have some blues on Youtube,Snowy White type stuff going on in the background tonite, and this song comes on...

And it has a very Snowy White vibe to it,so I grab the whole album, and am getting ready to throw it in my modern blues folder...only to find out the rest of the album is symphonic power metal:confused:

Not bad really, but not what I was expecting...lol

I think D'ianno was the ideal singer for the early part of their career, but Bruce suited the more polished material from Number onwards, one thing though, Bruce can't do the D'ianno era stuff very well.

Thats true...everytime I hear Bruce trying to sing Wrathchild I cringe...my two fav Maiden albums are the two w/ D'ianno...i like some of later Maiden stuff, but not nearly as much as Killers,or the first album.
