Am I the first owner ??? Qualia 010 !!! - Page 29

Concerning the baffle, it is apparently made of a cellulose material and is perforated, in a design that, according to them, minimizes resonance and so forth.

Is Nik still the only one with the 010s? Amazing - one man alone cannot satisfy an entire forum with his impressions! Flood the market folks and let's hear em!

Dr. Rudi have delivered today the RP010, we have done some pics and I'll post soon...

The amp sound AMAZING with the Qualia... I'll tell you very soon my impressions if you are interested.

Best!
Nicola

That is what i have been saying. Now you really need to hear them
on an amp that can give the full dynamic range with no distortion.

The volume knob came in.

All precious metals... Ultra low distortion knob definitely required.

Penny & Giles!

Standards of decency demand that you immediately start working on a vacuum-chamber setup so that you can replace that cheap plastic knob with a solid stainless steel one covered in vacuum-deposited titanium.

LOL

It's like the boy in the sandbox raving about his new lorry -- and of course there comes the boy from the neighborhood with an even bigger and more beautiful lorry to spoil the party... It's so funny.

Hummm, now I have a few questions, sorry, I'm not an expert as you guys, but if my math is not wrong, with 500mW you will get around 127db with the Qualia, let's say the half of the power, at 250mW you will get about 124db, one quart of this level 125mW you will get 121db....are those numbers not good enough to properly drive the Qualia????
Is there any reason to need more to get the full dynamic range???? Is there any non deaf human beeing that could hear for a long period of time 100db (1mW with the Qualia), as a normal listening level???
