Anyone know anything about the apogee speakers? Which ones are good and which ones are worth buying? My dad's friend has a pair but I'm not quite sure of the model. It sounds quite nice. They seem to be fairly cheap used. My dad's friend's looks like the duletta II. Its grey and more than 5ft high. Are these good? They sounded nice. I'm interested.

I bought these puppies just before Christmas and they have been a revelation. I can't tell you how much they suit my listening tastes. I love close listening with lots of treble and tight...

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

First of all let me say this is one of my favourite BA driver earphones I have ever heard. That said, being a basshead, these didn't deliver in the bass department - I can't deny the fact...

I've had this card for quite a while now, and I have to say its a really nice card - a huge step-up to my on-board motherboard's audio. At first I do have to admit, it didn't feel like the D1...

Long story short: These earbuds, shouldn't ever be bought, when they come free in your iPod package, its fine to look at them, and try them on. If you know someone wanting to buy these,...

I asked my dad's friend and he comfirmed that it is indeed a duetta. I'm very interested now. For that price it seems too good to be true.
but it is. Life is good. Anyone have comments on this little sucker?

Nice speaker, but quite demanding on the amplifier due to its very low efficiency, you'll need a pretty high-powered amp (at least 100W) to get a decent sound level out of them.
Soundwise, pretty darn nice, pretty much has the detail of electrostatics but a warmer sound balance and nice bass, but room setup is critical and the shop owner said it was a complete pain in the ass to get things right. If I were to say which headphone it sounded most similar to, it would be the Stax Omega II.
My advice? Buy'em and then spend the next few years building a system around them. There are very few speakers around today that can match them at any price.
